Welcome to SOON!

Survivors On Our Own (SOON) is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization providing non-clinical services to mentally ill adults in Maricopa County. SOON is classified as a drop-in center/clubhouse. Our clients must have a current diagnosis of serious mental illness. Currently we have over 350 members recieving our services.

SOON provides the following services to our member clients:

Two hot meals a day - plus cold breakfast and snacks
Access to a food share program
A clothing bank
Educational programs
Recreational activities and events/field trips
Peer group counseling
Most importantly, a place where they feel safe, normal and cared for

SOON members gather outside for a discussion

Mission Statement

Survivors On Our Own of Arizona, Inc.'s mission is to fullfill the basic needs of seriously mentally ill adults in the Greater Phoenix Area through self-help non-clinical consumer run services.
